Nom Nom Go ("we", "our", or "the app") helps travelers scan dishes, check allergens, discover hotspots, and connect with a food community. This policy describes what we collect, why, and your choices.

Information we collect

  • Account data: email, display name, profile photo, location (city/region), allergies, and optional social handles you provide.
  • Food scans: photos you upload for analysis, analysis results, captions, and scan history stored in your account.
  • Location: approximate location when you allow it, used for Hotspots distance and setup flows.
  • Device data: standard app diagnostics and crash data via platform providers when enabled.

How we use information

  • Provide food analysis, allergy alerts, hotspots, and community features.
  • Authenticate you and keep your session secure.
  • Improve the product and fix bugs.

Third parties

We use Supabase (hosting, database, auth, storage) and AI providers (e.g. via our food-analysis edge functions) to process scan images. Their policies apply to infrastructure they operate.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account in the app (Account → Delete Account), which removes your auth user and linked profile data. You may also contact us to request deletion.

Your rights

Depending on your region, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data. Contact hello@nomnomgo.app.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy; continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
