Cookies & Tracking

Last updated · May 25, 2026

This page explains how Nom Nom Go uses cookies, local storage, and similar tracking technologies — both on this website and inside the iOS app.

What this covers

"Cookies" here means small data files stored on your device, plus equivalent technologies like localStorage, session storage, and SDK identifiers. We keep these to a minimum.

Inside the iOS app

The Nom Nom Go app does not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-app tracking. We do not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt because we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.

The app stores the following locally on your device for the app to function:

  • Session token — keeps you signed in (Supabase Auth).
  • Profile & preferences — your allergies, city, and display settings.
  • Cache — scan history thumbnails and feed snapshots for offline access.

You can clear everything by signing out, deleting the app, or deleting your account in Account → Delete Account.

On this website

This marketing site uses the following:

  • Strictly necessary — none required to load the page.
  • FunctionallocalStorage may remember UI preferences (e.g. waitlist form state). No third-party scripts read this.
  • Analytics — if enabled, privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that count page views in aggregate without identifying you.

We do not use advertising cookies, social-media tracking pixels, or session replay.

Types of cookies, defined

  • Session cookies expire when you close the browser or sign out.
  • Persistent cookies stay on your device until they expire or you delete them. We don't set persistent cookies that identify you.
  • Third-party cookies would be set by another domain. We don't use any.

Your choices

  • Browser: block or delete cookies via your browser settings — the site will still work.
  • App: revoke location permission in iOS Settings → Privacy → Location Services → Nom Nom Go. Clear local data by deleting the app.
  • Account: delete your account from inside the app to wipe server-side records.
